During May and June a number of found objects (boxes, springs, fruit cake tin, pitchfork, saw, bicycle wheel, etc.) made their way into my studio. Some were recombined, others left almost the same.
But all now possess a kind of second-life re-animated as electro-acoustic constructions. They were seen and heard Sunday, July 11, 2010 in two sold-out performances of Letters/Words Lost/Found, choreographed by Betzi Roe.
This series of five site-specific dances was held on the grounds of Rancho Bernardo's historic (operating continuously since 1889!) Bernardo Winery and included twelve dancers, five musicians, and three musician-dancers! Performances began at 2 pm and 6 pm.
